As most Bexley borough residents know, in November the council are swapping the recycling boxes for new wheelie bins. Wondering what to do with your recycling boxes after the swap? Our shed member, Roger, does!
Roger has designed a planter to fit the old recycling boxes perfectly. The planter is made out of pallet wood, with the boxes acting as lining to stop the wood from rotting. For water drainage, Roger drilled a few holes at the bottom of the boxes.
Roger also planted some wallflowers, which he grew from seeds. As you can see in the pictures, we have placed the planter just outside our shed. Come and have a look for recycling your recycling box inspiration!
Thank you Roger for our new planter. What a great idea!
